En el momento de sacar el tercer álbum de Lowlife, hubo un acontecimiento fundamental en la carrera de la banda y fue la partida del guitarrista Stuart Everest. Así hubo una gran pérdida para su trabajo al perder la guitarra característica de Stuart. 'Godhead' es en muchos sentidos un registro de transición y uno que - aunque no considero un disco clásico - todavía tiene su parte justo melodrama gótico.<br />

En este disco por primera vez se ven indicativos de una voluntad de querer aligerar un poco su material, para hacerlo más accesible, a un público más amplio. Sin embargo, lo que realmente añade valor a esta nueva publicación es la inclusión de las cinco pistas de la promoción de una rara "Black Sessions", que fue limitada a sólo 250 copias y ya se posteo en el blog.<br />

Ese vinilo fue meramente promocional y contenía 10 demos de la banda. Se hicieron unicamente 250 copias y luego, las 10 canciones, fueron contenidas como bonus tracks en los relanzamientos de los albums "Godhead", donde nos entregaron 5 de esos temas; y en "San Antorium" podremos encontrar los 5 restantes.<br /><br />En su tapa se puede leer: Las canciones contenidas en este álbum nunca se crearon para la liberación comercial... debe ser visto más como bocetos en miniatura de lo que podría ser... todos están en su estado original, registrado en bruto, liberado y glorioso en sus imperfecciones.<br /><br />No podre perdonar al que no lo descargue.
