Mephisto Walz, banda formada por un ex miembro de Christian Death, Barry Galvin (también conocido como Bari Bari). Bari Bari fue uno de los principales músicos que influyó en la creación del disco Atrocities, cuyas canciones las traspasó al repertorio de Mephisto Walz.
Mephisto Walz, formada en 1985, es una de las bandas clásicas de Gothic Rock. Caracterizados por la atmosfera temporal extensa en cada uno de sus discos, así como las voces agudas y distorcionadas en armonia con los Delay y Hall Reverb de guitarras; lo cual, ha convertido en emblema del panorama obscuro a nivel mundial.
Thalia (Cleopatra, 1995) es un maduro y bien organizado albúm (creo que su cuarto albúm de estudio) , que incluye los temas Mephisto Walz y No Way Out, posiblemente de las mejores canciones que hayan logrado hasta ahora. Pistas instrumentales, como A Precession of the Equinoxes y Aglaia At Auroras complacen con sus efectos fantasmales que recuerdan sus inicios.
