lluminate una veterana banda Alemana (lleva 15 años en el sendero) de reminiscencias gótico - románticas bajo la estética que creó Lacrimosa. La perfecta mezcla de elementos neoclásicos, rítmicos, electrónicos y románticos es el sonido que la identifica.Illuminate es una banda creada en el año 1993 por Johannes Berthold, quien es el compositor, cantante, pianista, tecladista y programador del grupo. Durante toda su carrera lo han acompañado diferentes elementos masculinos como femeninos. Aún asi lo que caracteriza a Illuminate son sus elementos clásicos,romanticos, oscuros, electrónicos y con gran uso de piano y combinaciones de guitarra; que han llevado a este grupo a ser uno de los más queridos en la escena gótica alemana y por que no, de Europa. Al pasar los años sus sonidos fueron cambiando y en 2003 con la edición de "10x10" es notoria la inclusión de guitarras, muy fuertes a veces, bajo y batería, uniéndose a las delicadas melodías de piano y a los teclados conformando un sonido Gothic Rock a diferencia de las placas anteriores. Este primer disco que aquí les traigo navega en aguas más tranquilas de la mano del Gothic y Darwave a la vez, con delicados toques electrónicos.
En estos días creo que subiré la mayoría de sus discos para que vean claramente su evolución.
